1. Collection and Use of Information
Personal Information: Depending on how you use the Site, we may ask you to share personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) with us. This allows us to maintain Daycare Discover as a consistent, high-quality provider resource for parents. The types of information we may collect in this manner include basic contact information (e.g. name, email address, postal address, zip code, phone number), location, demographic information, photographs, video, and credit card and other payment and bank information you provide to us.
Non-Personal Information: Non-personal information is information that does not identify the specific User. This type of information may include things like the URL of the website you visited before and after visiting our Site, the type of browser you are using, and the IP address of the computer you use to visit the Site. When you access or use the Service, we automatically collect information about you, including but not limited to:
Log Information: We log information about your use of the Service, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to the Service. We do link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you. We do this for many reasons, including but not limited to improve services, marketing, analytics, and site functionality.
Device Information: We collect information about the mobile device or computer you use to access the Service, including but not limited to the hardware model, operating system and version, browser type, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.

Third- Party Contact Info: We may also collect third-party contact information if you permit the Service to import such information or otherwise upload such information for your use within the Service or so that you may invite your contacts to use the Service or participate in other referral services. This information may include, but is not limited to, such third party’s name and basic contact info, as well as Facebook ID. If you log into your account through sign-in services, like Facebook Connect, you provide Daycare Discover with permission to access certain information about you from Facebook or such other sign-in service, such as your Facebook User ID, user profile, friends list, user graph and profile picture.
Daycare Discover is based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the Service or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.
2. Sharing of Information
With other users of the Service, vendors, consultants and other service providers, such as payment processors, who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf; We may disclose information you provide if required to do so by law, at the request of a third party, or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure is reasonable to (1) comply with the law, requests or orders from law enforcement, or any legal process (whether or not such disclosure is required by applicable law), (2) protect or defend Daycare Discover’s, or a third party’s rights or property, or (3) protect someone’s health or safety, such as when harm or violence against any person (including you) is threatened.
If we believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of our user agreements or policies or that such sharing is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property and safety of Daycare Discover, its users, it employees, or others; In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company or upon liquidation of Daycare Discover; and
Otherwise with your consent or at your direction, including if we notify you through the Service that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.
We may also share aggregate data about Users with third parties, including advertisers and marketing partners. This information does not identify individual Users.
Social Sharing Features: The Service may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which let you share actions you take in connection with the Service with other media, and vice versa. The use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. Refferals: Users may invite friends to join the Site by providing their contact information, selecting Facebook friends to be invited or by entering your log-in information to import your address book from other sites. We will use your friends’ contact information to invite them to join and connect with you on the Site. We may store their Personal Information in our records, but will not send them promotional emails unless they register for an account or otherwise request us to do so.
Daycare Discover takes security of your Personal Information seriously and we reasonable measures in an attempt to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including but not limited to Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for sensitive information such as financial information. However, no data transmitted over or accessible through the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and Daycare Discover does not represent or warrant that your information will be completely secure, including but not limited to from misappropriation by hackers or from other nefarious or criminal activities, or in the event of a failure of computer hardware, software, or a telecommunications network.
4. Your Choices
You may access, update or correct your profile information at any time by logging into your account. You may also opt-out of receiving promotional emails from Daycare Discover (e.g., monthly newsletters, new service offerings, special discounts and third-party offers). If you wish to discontinue receiving promotion emails, you can opt-out by using the link on the bottom of every promotional email you receive from Daycare Discover.
5. Links to 3rd Party Sites
Our Site may contain third party advertising and links to third party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of these advertisers or websites. Please contact such advertisers or websites directly for more information about their privacy practices. We hereby expressly disclaim, and you hereby expressly release us from, any and all liability whatsoever for any controversies, claims, suits, injuries, harm, loss and/or damages, arising from and/or in any way related to third party advertisers and/or the use of links to third party websites that may appear on the Service, including but not limited to such websites’ vailability, privacy policies, content, advertising, and/or products or other materials.
6. Age Restrictions
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18, and no part of the Site is designed to attract anyone under the age of 18.
Parents: If you become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that an individual under 18 has opened an account and provided us with Personal Information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate that person’s account.
